LiftLock has no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. It never sees what you do on your phone. The only thing that leaves your device is a backup of your workouts and stats, and you can delete it any time.

What stays on your phone

Your workouts, your session history, and your settings are stored on your device. The app works fully offline.

What gets backed up

So a reinstall or a new phone can get your data back, the app mirrors your workout plans (names, exercises, sets, rest times) and session stats (dates, durations, sets completed, focus score) to a server run on Supabase. The backup is filed under a random ID created on your phone — not your name, email, or anything about your identity. It's used for nothing except giving your data back to you.

Sign in with Apple (optional)

You never need an account. If you sign in with Apple, the backup is also tied to your Apple user ID so it can follow you to a new phone, and Apple may share your name with the app if you allow it. LiftLock never sees your email or password. Signing out stops the link; the app keeps working exactly the same.

Screen Time

Blocking uses Apple's Screen Time feature, and only during workouts. LiftLock can't see which apps you use, when, or for how long — it only tells iOS when to raise and drop the block. You can revoke Screen Time access any time in the iOS Settings app.

What LiftLock doesn't do

No ads. No analytics or tracking SDKs. No selling or sharing your data. No collecting your contacts, location, health data, or app usage. The only third party involved is Supabase, which hosts the backup server.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete backup removes everything about you from the server — for every phone under your Apple ID if you're signed in — and signs you out. The data on your phone stays yours; deleting the app deletes it.

Children

LiftLock isn't directed at children under 13, and it doesn't knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the same text ships inside the app under Settings → Privacy.
